Data collection is a very simple process… two standard video cameras are set up at specific angles to the data collection area. A calibration unit is placed in the area where the patient/athlete will perform the activity and is filmed (using both cameras simultaneously) for approximately 30 seconds (note: when collecting data in a game environment the calibration process is performed prior to the start of the game). The patient/athlete is then filmed (using both cameras simultaneously) performing the activity.
-special note: the cameras can be, but do NOT have to be genlocked
